Kwalwasser was CLIPI’s chief administrator officer from the mid 1970s to 1987. Among many other activities, she organized CLIPI’s Energy Conference in the midst of the 1970s energy crisis, and she successfully brought then New York governor Mario Cuomo to serve as guest speaker at CLIPI’s 15th Anniversary dinner honoring Frank Wheat held at the Dorothy Chandler Pavillion.
