Impact at CLIPI
After graduating from Yale Law School in 1993, Zasloff worked at Hall and Associates for two years, focusing on CLIPI environmental and land use law cases. His work included challenging poorly planned development projects and advocating for the expansion of Los Angeles’s urban park system.
Currently, Zasloff is a Professor of Law at UCLA School of Law, where he has taught since 1998. He specializes in property, land use, environmental law, housing discrimination law, and Jewish law. In 2019, he was ordained as a rabbi by the Alliance for Jewish Renewal.
In 2023, he was appointed to the Climate Emergency Mobilization Commission by Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass.
