Impact at CLIPI

Moving Forward

Jackson Drake served as one of the two first CLIPI fellows in the late 1970s during the early years of her legal career. This experience provided her with an intense and rewarding introduction to public interest law.

After her time at CLIPI, she returned to San Francisco, where she practiced corporate law and later worked as a foundation executive focused on women’s health, education, arts, the elderly, and poverty. She eventually returned to practicing law, concentrating on public health and environmental issues.
